Autonomous take off and landing quadcopter with carrier tracking the developer from University of Tübingen using Wii IR camera which can tracking IR light patten then calculate it back to position and orientation to control the flight, self-stabilization with IMU unit, onboard process with additional ground station which reported live view camera image, current calculated pose, next way point and PID controller setting.

The micro tricopter were develop by William Th. He showing this project in his blog. It very amazing that small stuff can fly very flexible. very powerful engine it can even carry compact camera on flying with his develop the I2C to PWM convertor. the tricopter controlled by Arduino pro mini with 3 axis gyroscopes and accelerometer with self-stabilizing. all info available in his blog including source code.
